A 50-year-old woman was referred to us with a painful bunion and great toe joint. She was looking for a minimally invasive bunion procedure to “fix” her foot. Having special training and experience in these techniques, we offered her a virtually painless minimally invasive bunion procedure that would return her to activity quickly. Following her bunion surgery, the patient’s great toe and joint are realigned, she is pain-free and can now wear the shoes of her choice. Also, eight weeks after the surgery she informed us she ran a “5k Charity Run” and her foot is better than ever!
